Engineering for Earthquakes

Pupils will discover more about earthquakes and experience an immersive disaster management scenario. Pupils consider the issues they might face if their school was relocated to an imaginary earthquake prone island. They will investigate aspects such as earthquake movement and earthquake-resistant building design and use risk maps and basic co-ordinates to plan a new location for their school.
