Journey into the Rainforest

Pupils will discover the amazing diversity of life in the Tropical Rainforests via engaging imagery and interactive activities including a game looking at some fascinating preserved specimens of Tropical creepy-crawlies!  They will explore the threats faced by Rainforest environments and creatures, encompassing a range of topics such as spread of diseases and conflict and link them to the overarching issue of deforestation.  The workshop finishes with an Dynamic Earth online shopping activity which highlights how our consumer choices are affected Rainforests globally.
