In partnership with Our Dynamic Earth and the Scottish Seabird Centre, closer2nature is an exciting schools outreach programme delivered directly to your door.

All workshops complement the Curriculum for Excellence and aim to promote successful learning through experience. The length of workshops can vary between 50 minutes and 90 minutes.

The workshops include a range of handling specimens from gannets and puffins to mammoth bones and dinosaur claws, authentic bird smells, amazing volcano and glacier demonstrations.

Schools Communicator - Liz Coutts

Liz is passionate about science communication gaining a BSc (Hons) in Costal Zone and Marine Environment Studies, followed by an MSc in Ecology. She has over 5 years experience working as a guide in Pembrokeshire Marine SAC and the Firth of Lorn Marine SAC, as well as volunteering for an environmental conservation kids club.
